Wandering the Wonders

The Song of the jungle,
The glistening gold of the river,
The Emerald draping of the trees on the naked hills,
The sun peeking from behind mother nature's shadow,
The paddy fields,
The fishes in the stream,
The whispering wind,
The smokey mountains,
The whistling of the pine trees,
The abode of Rudra in Rudraksh,
Siddharta in Goompa,
The bountiful rich culture,
The simplicity of the people,
The variety and unity in diversity,
The land of the setting sun right at noon,
The twin of Mizoram,
One of the youngest of the seven sisters,
The land of Dawn Lit Mountains,
Arunachal Pradesh.

Falling Apart

The light seemed so close to reach out to,
One breath, One big leap,
Hands entwined,enthusiasm pumping,
The heart racing,
The one step you move forward,
Our hands seem to slip away,
You moving two steps ahead,
Me falling way behind,
Our footsteps do not match,
I cannot race up to you,
I try reaching out but alas,
Am Falling Apart.

Shadow

Wherever I escape to,
It Searches me out,
Trailing me every moment,
sticking as adhesive,
Never letting me go.
Oh how I wish,
It would move away,
For a while to let me be on my own and go away,
I ask for it to go, but in vain
When Everyone leaves,
It stands with me strong,
Unless and until there is a darkness that prevails,
It is then and there only that my shadow also walks out,
For me to fend and fight for myself,
The darkness engulfs me,
Gobbles me up,
But I have none and no one to stand beside me,
Even my shadow escapes.
